 The suture and wound care training course is specially designed for healthcare professionals who wish to acquire or reinforce their skills in this field. This 4-hour course offers a comprehensive practical and theoretical approach to mastering suturing techniques and appropriate wound care. 

During the course, participants will familiarize themselves with the different types of suture, the different threads and techniques used, and the instruments needed to perform a proper suture. They will also learn how to assess the severity of an injury and make appropriate treatment decisions.

The training also includes a practical part where participants will have the opportunity to put their newly acquired knowledge into practice. They will practice wound preparation, suturing, dressing and suture maintenance. Participants will be coached by experienced professionals who will provide invaluable advice and feedback.

In addition, training will include sessions on possible complications of suturing and wound care, as well as infection prevention. Participants will learn about safety and hygiene protocols to minimize the risk of complications.

By the end of the course, participants will have acquired a comprehensive understanding of the art of suturing and wound care. They will be able to perform sutures with confidence and skill, while ensuring that wounds heal properly and avoid potential complications. This training offers healthcare professionals the opportunity to hone their skills and improve the quality of care they provide to their patients.

*Course cancellation by SIRIUSMEDx :

SIRIUSMEDx reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of participants is not reached. If SIRIUSMEDx cancels a course due to insufficient participants, SIRIUSMEDx will refund the full course fee or transfer the course to another available date.

**Usual cancellation policy :

1. If you cancel a course 30+ days before it is due to start, the full course fee will be refunded.

2. If you cancel a course between 15 and 29 days before the start of the course, you will be refunded 50% of the fees paid

OR we will transfer your registration to a subsequent available date (1 year), subject to a $25 administration fee.

3. If you cancel 14 days or less before the course start date, there is no refund

We can also move your registration to a later date (1 year), for a fee of $45.
