Safety and Prevention with Bears

The participant in the bear safety and prevention course learns that preparation is key to preventing dangerous encounters! They will learn to recognize habitats and risks, as well as the different species, to plan their movements, and to observe and understand bear behavior.
Cost and duration
8 hours of training - Price upon request.
It is advisable to take this training in conjunction with Firearms: Safety and Practice.
Prerequisite
None, but it is recommended that participants take the Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course before or after this course.
Certification
The certification is valid for three years. SIRIUSMEDx issues a digital certificate recognizing your learning.
Recertification
To recertify, you must take the same training before your certification expires.
