Role and Responsibilities

Select the physician responsible for health services
-
Establish OHS training and information programs for staff

Participate in the identification and evaluation of the risks present
-
Choose the means and equipment of personal protection
-
Maintain accident, incident and first aid records
-
Receive notices of accidents and investigate events in order to submit recommendations to the employer and CNESST

Make recommendations to the employer regarding occupational health and safety
-
Receive, consider, retain and respond to health and safety suggestions and complaints
-
Receive and review inspection reports
-
Analyze the statistics of work accidents and occupational diseases, transmit to the CNESST the required information and the annual report
-
Carry out any other task assigned by the employer or the workers
