The training course "Predators and At-Risk Animals: Safety and Prevention" provides individuals working in remote areas with a deep understanding of the habitat and behavior of wild predators in various regions of Canada and the North.
Through theoretical presentations and practical sessions, participants will learn how to anticipate, prevent, and respond to encounters with potential predators.
The training focuses on risk and hazard assessment and practical skills.
Cost and duration
8 hours, or one day - Price upon request.
Prerequisite
None, but it is recommended that participants take the Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course before or after this course.
Certification
The certification is valid for three years. SIRIUSMEDx issues a digital certificate recognizing your learning.
Recertifiaction
To recertify, you must take the training again before your certification expires.
