Description :
This training course is designed to equip people who supervise outdoor groups, particularly in colleges, as well as managers working in isolated areas, to develop basic mental health first aid skills in isolated regions. It will enable them to identify signs of psychological distress, support people in crisis and direct them to the appropriate resources.
By taking part, workers and managers will gain a better understanding of their role and responsibilities in managing psychosocial risks in isolated environments, thus fostering a safer, more caring environment for all.
Objectives :
- Identify the different types of crisis, the dangerousness of a critical situation and the best intervention postures.
- Stabilize emergency and crisis situations and support students or workers in psychological distress.
- Refer students or workers to appropriate external resources adapted to the situation.
